Frequently Asked Questions
How should I prepare for my first treatment?
Hygiene is very important especially if I'm using oil or massage lotion. Drink extra water the day before the session. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your first visit to discuss your issues. The more you tell me the better I can help you. If this is your first massage there will be more talking than usual as we are getting to know each other. Be prepare to book your second session. Depending on the reason for your visit you may need to come in sooner.
Who do you work with?
My guests are mostly men who are stressed, have anxiety, and have lower body pain. I treat sciatica, low back pain, glute pain, leg pain and foot pain. This issues may occur from prolonged sitting or practicing sports.
Do I have to take my clothes off?
No, it is at your comfort level. Most prefer to be nude, some leave underwear on and some prefer to leave their clothes on. Specific draping will be performed if you decide to undress to keep you comfortable and secure at all times. In order for me to be most effective undressing will be best for optimal treatment. However, I can still work the areas needed with loose comfortable clothing.
Will my butt(glutes) be uncovered?
For best result I do recommend uncovering the area with secure draping to ensure proper coverage of genitals and anus and following state laws for massage regulations. Communication is very important while working on glutes because it is a very sensitive and personal area. Please let me know if you are uncomfortable at any moment during the massage so that I stop what I’m doing, change technique to respect your boundaries.
How often should I receive massage?
If you suffer from chronic pain I recommend to book within a few days to a 1 week after the first initial visit. After that I do recommend weekly-biweekly depending and easing off as you get better. To manage stress and keep the body moving I do recommend every 4-6 weeks.
